About Miahera

Miahera is a small online womenswear shop. This page explains who is behind it, what we sell and what you can expect from us as a customer.

Why this shop exists

Miahera was started by a woman who wanted to earn her own money online, independently, and build it around something she actually cares about. Clothes were the obvious answer. She had spent years paying attention to what people wear, what looks good on a normal evening out and what gets left in the wardrobe, and she wanted to do something with that rather than let it sit there.

The other reason is simpler and more ordinary: she wanted to provide better for her family. A shop you run yourself does not come with a manager, a schedule set by someone else or a ceiling on what the work can turn into. That is the whole appeal, and it is why this exists.

It is still small. When you write to the shop, the person who reads your message is the person who runs it.

Our mission

To make it easy to find an evening dress, a set or a coat that looks considered, without a trip into town and without the usual friction that comes with buying clothes online. That means being straight about what an item is, sending it out quickly, and making it painless to swap or send back.

Our vision

We want Miahera to be the shop someone thinks of first when there is an event in the calendar and nothing in the wardrobe for it: the reliable one, the one that respects your time. Over time we want the range to grow with the people who shop here, and we want the service side to stay as simple as it is today even when the shop is bigger.

What we sell

Miahera is a retailer. What we do is put together a focused range of womenswear and describe it honestly.

The range covers six areas. Maxi dresses in sequin, lace, satin look and velvet finishes. Midi dresses, from ribbed knits to lace and pleated styles. Mini dresses cut short and mostly kept covered at the arms. Two piece sets that pair blazers, crop tops, skirts and trousers. Jumpsuits in wide leg and flared cuts. And blazers and coats for the months when a dress on its own is not enough.

Sizes run from XS to 5XL depending on the style, in US alpha sizing, and the sizes available for an item are always listed on its product page. Every description on this site is written by us and describes what the photographs show.

What you can expect from us

Four things, and they apply to every order without conditions attached.

Free shipping. Every order ships free within the United States, with no minimum order value and tracking included.
Thirty days to change your mind. You have 30 days from delivery to send something back.
Free exchanges. If the size or color is wrong, we swap it at no cost to you in either direction, and the replacement goes out as soon as you tell us, not after your return arrives.
A real person on email. Write to info@miahera.com and you get an answer, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST/EDT (Eastern Time).
